There has been no distortion except that on the part of you people. Every
story I have read on that incident mentioned that the Senate was not in
session. Frist
himself mentioned it the moment the story broke and that too was reported
by everyone.

That the Senate was not in session is the excuse you people use to brush
off Cheney's crude and very unusual behavior, on or off the Senate floor. 
That is the distortion here, that was all about the Senate being or not
being in session.
