Just a note: The slowest 8088's in common use in PCs are 4.77Mhz, the
speed of the original IBM PC. (Perhaps you're seeing "2" from a program
like Norton SI -- it reports the speed as a multiple of the original IBM
PC's speed, rather than in Mhz.)
