subject: Re: Postpone election?

From: "Gary Britt"

Actually this whole discussion is premised on a false report. It came out
yesterday that the Administration has not now or at anytime requested any
research about or preparations for the postponement of any election.
Apparently the story was incorrectly based on a rather old memo written on
the initiative of a lower level DOJ guy musing about this topic and then
concluding elections and how they are run are the sole province of
Congress.

But it sure did get all the paranoid lefty types around here running and
scurrying around for a while.

The politics of fear and doom and gloom are specialties of the left, and
they love to scare their own base if that's what it takes to get them fired
up.

Cheers,

Gary
