Making telescopes is mostly a woodworking or metalworking job, depending
upon which way you want to go and what you are comfortable working with.
Mirror making has its own stuff and for a basic job, there really isn't
much that you need special with the exception of a Foucault tester which is
easy to build.
There is a lot of stuff out there in webland, my site included, and a
search for the various things that you will need with Google will bring the
pages to you very nicely.
