Hmm... haven't actually given that much thought. What I'd need to
know is what is your gear made of, and is it treated with anything. If
it's already treated, then it would likely have to come off or you might
eventually have problems with adhesion. I have Gore-Tex foul weather gear
which stinks big time, so I may experiment on my own to see what happens.
Let me know what you've got and I'll see what I can do for you.
