Switching to TSE is not very hard. The macro language while slightly
different for some commands has almost the same command names as
Qedit. A lot of the features that were macros in Qedit and part of
TSE. To ease the transition there is a Qedit user interface for TSE.
  Some major advantages:
       - You can compile, debug, correct errors, re-compile all from
         within the editor.
       - The macro language is a much easier to understand
       - HyperText like on-line help with help on word at cursor for the
times that you mind does a brain fade and you forget the
syntax. I know that brain fade does not happen often but when
it does it is total at my location.
       - 1000 of macros available even though TSE has been around only a
short time I can't think of any macro available for Qedit that
         is not available in TSE.
       - In TSE you can do things that are NOT possible in Qedit and
what's more you can do them more easily.
