1 tb Malt syrup, molasses or
White sugar
1/4 c Canned green chilies,
Drained
3/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Chili powder
2 3/4 c Bread flour
1 1/2 ts Active dry yeast
1/4 c Canned green chilies,
Drained, at beep*

7/8 c Water
1 tb Vegetable oil
2 tb Malt syrup, molasses or
White sugar
3/8 c Canned green chilies,
Drained
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Chili powder
3 1/3 c Bread flour
2 ts Active dry yeast
1/4 c Canned green chilies,
Drained, at beep*
*Or five minutes before the end of the kneading phase, or work into
dough.
Chili lovers untilte! This New Mexico favorite is spreading across the
country. Use canned diced green chilies, drained and patted dry on
paper towels. Use half the amount of chilies at the beginning with
the liquid ingredients, and the other half at the raisin/nut beep.
