I could quote from the article, but what's the point? All I'd be able to
add to it, is "I agree!"
That Al Shanker is right on the money. It is so ridiculous to scrap the
grading system when the kids know who the smart ones and not-so-smart
ones are anyways. And we certainly are shooting ourselves in the foot by
not recogizing academic achievement.
