JR> well as a GVC Voice/Fax/Data/Speakerphone. Did you see that IBM have a JR> V.34 MWave approved ??? It has sound card, modem, SVD and everything. I've had the most incredible support problems with people with those MWave devices. They are a splendid idea, but the first thing IBM tech support asks users to do when they have ANY odd happenings under Windows or OS/2, is to remove all traces of the MWave drivers. Also hit a weird problem on the IBM 760CD, related to the MWave - if you have the MWave drivers installed, the computer can't recognize an asserted DCD signal in Windows - even if you're using a PCMCIA modem or an external modem on the serial port. DCD is always unasserted, regardless of what the modem is doing. -- Lewin A.R.W.
