RB>> >> Is Rods Supra a VFC only or a Supra Express. RB>> Express? > RPI, no? IS> Fair comment. You might expand on the problems with RPI a bit? This was actually Hamish's comment let him explain it RB>> I agree about the Express, I recently saw John Ninedeck advertising RB>> Supra's for $240 or so and just had to ring and ask. Sure Enough, He was RB>> flogging the express. RB>> I would not waste the fax to order them. RB>> I don't believe in taking people for a ride to make a profit. This is not intended to"denigrate" Jonathan. It is not his fault that companies make RPI modems. I am saying that I think manufacturers are taking advantage of people going for a cheaper priced modem by not giving them features that they expect at the level of todays technology. People mostly buy on price these days and find when they get home that they got exactly what they payed for or maybe a little less, but certainly never more. I think that this is ripping people off or at least taking advantage of them. IS> This, however, is dangerously close to 'denigration of competitors or IS> their IS> products', Russell, and leaning a bit too heavily on 'Friendly', too. IS> I've called Jonathan out in the echo about his non-declaration of IS> commercial IS> interest, earlier netmail not having done the trick. I'd appreciate it IS> if IS> you'd make any interests you may have quite clear too. IS> Regards, Ian Netmail attached to this packet.
