He must be absolutely creaming his trousers.  The only one they haven't
contacted and at the same time the chief suspect.  A police arrest at No 10
is now well within the possibilities.

On a Wednesday, for preference.  Just before Prime Minister's questions,
when the Speaker will be forced to ask his Deputy Prime Minister to stand
in.

That would beat Geoffrey Howe's speech.
