 AS> Doug,

AS> I need your help. I have become very interested in the
AS> chess Files you post on filebone. I have a small problem.
AS> I don't know how to access any of them. I don't have Web
AS> access, just a mail address. However, I do call the local
AS> bbses almost daily, and my mailer has a freq function. I
AS> just don't know the proper way to freq on the filebone, or
AS> if it's even possible for me to do so, despite reading
 AS> filebone.faq and filebone.na. (Particularly, I'm interested
AS> in the Chess Tutor Demo program.) Will you explain it to me
AS> in plain English? I'd truly appreciate any shred of help
 AS> you could offer!

AS> Since our Esteemed Moderator would probably deem (and rightfully
AS> so) public continuation of this thread off topic,

Not at all, Amber. (Although I do wish your editor would not place hard
returns in the message body. )

If you can't find a local (non-LD-charge) source, all of Doug's file
distributions can be File Requested from 106/6018 (14.4k speeds).

In addition I have a private 28.8k number that also supports File Requests,
which is available to 28.8 users upon request.
