Thanks for the verbose response, but what I was talking about was the
"all-in-one" BBS software packages, a la Synchronet. I don't
know what you're talking about in the "misquoting". I think you
misunderstood my response because I was assuming networking in your context
was multiple access points for a BBS, including a web interface.

By the way, I'm KD5COL, so I know all about "RF" and
"radio". I'm also in ARES and a certified SKYWARN spotter, so
this isn't news to me. :) I've also got pretty much all the trappings for
a packet BBS and digipeater node here...just no time to do anything with
it. You should check out Daryl Stout's (N5VLZ) board - he's got some great
stuff on it. It's at telnet://tbolt.synchro.net if it's currently up (he
takes it down for storms and such).

Also, when quoting, please only quote the pertinent part of the message and
not the entire bottom half of the message (including sig, tearline and
origin). People still pay to get their Fido mail. :)

I don't use a QWK reader; I use TimEd, which is a sysop editor. I directly
manipulate my Squish message base with this program. I do too many things
that are outside of QWK's capabilities so I use this.

Later,
Sean
