in Iraq, and she indicated no new willingness to ask for help from U.S.
adversaries in the Middle East.

'It is not an issue of whether you talk to somebody,' Rice said. 'I will
talk to anybody, anywhere, anytime, under the right circumstances if I
think we can make progress. I am not afraid to talk to anyone.'"


The very fact that the USA _has_ "adversaries in the Middle East"
is cause for concern.  Not one country has ever attacked or even threatened
the USA.
