G'day david

 PE> Netcomm Series 5 SmartModem M34F (SM3400) DFS256K(K)-Z7 V2.61L

db> The modem originally had revision "DFS256K(K) V2.61C1" when

AFAIK the V2.61C1 code was supplied in the later bug free chiped
modem.

PC> AT#V0I6#V1 to get the Rockwell chip ID .

db> Now *that's* what I like to see - undocumented AT commands!

us netcomm owners just know these things :-) there's quite a few of
them but unfortunately i've forgot most of them, Steve Lennie seems to
be the keeper of the commands maybe he can post them all again.

This is the bug free chip the buggy V34 chip has an 04BC number i
think.

I've seen the RAM dump but what it means is beond me, be careful what
commands you type with verification turned off as some of them
instruct the loader to erase itself, ATI240 does this i think.
