Bob,
Not being one who uses PGP I have little contact with it. However from what I
have seen when I do see a post on FIDO, the top part is in plain text with a
second paragraph in PGP mode. I have taken the time to de-code a few of these
posts only to find that they are a duplicate of the plain text. This is not
to say that the PGP text could not contain other information.
And while were on the subject of echo rules, I would also like to challenge
the issue of the echo moderator, you, violating your own rules. to wit
#3 while "Echo Moderator" is a title and might be considered a handle or
alias, it is not your real name. So by your own rules, you should have your
name somewhere in the post.
As far as "adoption" of new rules, why not just declare them, I don't see
where we, the users of the echo had any say or discussion.
