And it'll be true this time as it was last. Sounds to me like you're
drafting a preemptive alibi for the left.

I'm hopeful that it doesn't come to the cut and run plan this time though,
it seems to me that the Dems, like so many yapping dogs, caught the car and
now don't want to do with it what they thought they did before they caught
it (witness the dumping of Murtha overboard).

Even the "retired generals" have started getting nervous and
having helped rid the nation of the virus on our defense, Rumsfeld, and
gotten the Dems elected, are now counseling that cut and run ain't such a
good idea at all.
