Hi Micheal!
-> My name is Mike and I am a Heli pilot.I have been flying RC for over 10
-> years. I was told that there were not to many of us in this area. I do
now
-> quite a few in my area and the number continues to grow. I have set up
any
-> types of machines and have taught many people to fly. I have also fixed
many
-> setup problems with more advanced flyers. If I can help anyone here I
ould
-> be more than happy to. Just let me know.(RIGHT RICK?)
You are where I want to be by next year or sooner hopefully. I plan on
aving
for some Heli equipment, but I am just a newbie. I am somewhat familiar with
the prices, but I really want to buy a fairly cheap RC-heli within a few
months.
I would like to get a simulator program for my Amiga, and use that to help me
train. I'm sure Rick would have some idea where I could download a
Croppleware
version of it or something. . .
Anyhow, what I really need to know is what is the best approach to this as a
beginner? What parts do I need? Where is the cheapest place to get them (I
am
open to used parts too)? Also, what is the maximum payload capacity a RC
helicopter can manage? I want to add some things to it (eventually) that
might
make it heavier.
Thanx in advance!
SQuire
