-=>While in the White Hart, Dorothy Reynolds explained to Fred Runk that<=-
DR> Well it's good to see you back again. Did I read a message last
DR> week that said this Conference is going to be shutting down?
DR> Or was it just one board that's shutting down? Would hate to
DR> see this conference fade into oblivion. Tell me I'm wrong, please?
Think it might have been one board that was shutting down. It's happening
everywhere, unfortunately. Internet is taking everyone away and local bbs
are dropping out.
DR> Work does have a way of interfering with pleasure, doesn't it, but
DR> I'm glad to see you're still teaching.
So are my creditors and the mortgage company.
DR> I just finished reading Lillian O'Donnell's "No Business Being a
DR> Cop." Second one of hers I've read. Like her Sgt. Mulcahaney
DR> character. Tough lady. Also like the easy read of O'Donnell's
DR> books. Kind of a nice change pace.
Don't know her at all.
FR> Finished: JRR Tolkien, _The Hobbit_
DR> Loved the Hobbit series. Read them all and even drag them out to
DR> re-read. Find something new in them everytime. They're quite
DR> deep and have a bit of everything in them. Even mystery.
DR> What a mind Tolkien had!
Yep, one of a kind. I'm starting THE LORD OF THE RINGS now.
DR> ... The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.
I wonder how so many seemed to have gotten over it then.
... If you have to think twice about saying something, think again.
