Dik, I suppose this is not specifically a Word question but I do have some
comments.

I've seen this kind of lock-up but only on systems with disk drives with slow
(+22 ms) access times. Replacing the drive fixed the problem.

That may attributable to RAM which is too quick for the motherboard. The
system might do better with 80ns RAM. Incidentally, the latest (4/8/97)
issue of PCMag has a note on this point.

That is awfully marginal. We have found that a 486/33 needs 16MB RAM to run
Win95 properly.
