Didn't mean to rub you the wrong way, but I do not "dislike" WIN95.
When I am building systems, it is the operating system of choice
that I prefer to install for the client.
I usually will recommend WIN95 to people due to the software that is
available on the market.  Though I believe that OS/2 is better, the
lack of available software makes WIN95 the one to pick.
BTW, I also agree with you on your assertion that proper configuration
of the system will ensure (most of the time) that it will remain
stable.
