To begin with, which version of WV are you running?

At home, where I am this weekend, according to Settings>About, I have 23 
May 2006.  It apparently unzipped from wvgui1.01.zip.  I don't try video 
at home because I only have dial up, but the office machine is probably 
the same date as home.
