My story is the same, the increase in social security taxes gave
the Reagan administration more money to spend. BTW, the
accelerated taxe increases were rate increases. Those particular
increases only benefited the Reagan administration.
That is the point you are spinning madly to avoid addressing.
Reagan's people pushed social security tax increases to give
them more money to spend without raising income taxes.
