Not a bit of truth in that. It was Saddam who claimed he had destroyed all
of his WMD. It was Saddam who invited the UN to send inspectors back into
Iraq to confirm it. Only then did the UN do so under the Blix inspectorate.
It was Saddam who provided documentation to support his claim.

Is yours the latest spin by the Republicans on what happened, a spin that
is supposed to justify Bush illegal invasion of Iraq? If so, it is another
in a long list of dumb excuses. It is simply contrary to all the known
facts.
