ML> how did i ""capture"" them?? as a fido mail

 Ok, that might well help.

The messages do not show up in the packets I download from
Docsplace. I do archive all the packets that apply to me in any
way, and I do not find that message in the Debate echo.

However, they do show up on fido.ozzmossis.com, and there are
msgs from Earl Croasmun and Lee Lafaso also with the messed up
dates. Neither of them post from Docsplace. So that suggests
 it's happening outside of Docsplace.

Oh, I am using the silverxpress reader.

Can you please send that by email? Thanks.
