My most recent example is a 2" flat elliptical secondary out of a Questar, which I coated with the rectangular black anodized aluminum backing plate still RTV'ed in place. (Btw, this was done on-site at the 03' Orange Blossom Star Party in Central Florida, with the aluminizer setup on the dirt/grass observing field. I coated several mirrors that weekend, here's a link: (towards the bottom) http://www.telescopelab.com/gallery.php?collection=aluminizer Take Care, James Lerch http://lerch.no-ip.com/atm (My telescope construction, testing, and coating site) "Anything that can happen, will happen" -Stephen Pollock from: "Particle Physics for Non-Physicists: A Tour of the Microcosmos" --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/100 1 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
