I got to ask a question, The feds just said no to medical use of mj. Even 
though two states have approved it. Are things so different in the US that 
the feds can override the democratic decision of a state???
Next the thing I keep hearing is that it can't be legalized because of the 
fact that more teens will use it. Question what percentage of teens have not 
tried smoking (cigs), alcohol or other drugs because they are illegal or age 
restricted.
The laws aren't working. After all the years, effort, time money wasted to 
prove it doesn't work. When is someone with a brain going to realize that a 
new approach has to be made. Legalize it then use the billions to educate and 
treat users that become addicted. Our government (CAnada) has been promising 
for more then thirty years to legalize it here. but there are allways the 
miniority of powerfull lobbists that manage to prevent it from happening.
Misinformation is bad news for everyone.
A couple of examples.
Attended a PAC (Parents Action Commitee) meeting at my sons school the other 
nite. Watch the horrified faces around me as one speaker outlined the 
terrible death of a freinds son who had OD'D on mj. What amazed me was the 
number of parents that accepted this as fact. So just as a way of asking a 
dumb question. Does anyone out there have documented proof of anyone ever 
dying from an overdose of mj???
Teens were warned about the wild and absurd effects of mj. Unfortuately they 
hang around with other freinds that use the stuff, see the children 
(non-deformed) of parents that use or used it. once they come face to face 
with lies that they have been told regarding mj, they suddenly began to doubt 
the dangers of the real killers out there. hence they are more then likely to 
try or use these dangerous drugs.
