-= Pete Replied to david begley about: M34F & USR Couriers =-

G'day david

PC> are you sure your not just seeing the inital lower connect
 PC> before the train up.

db> Of course I can't check anything at this end on the M34F
db> (drats), but according to the connection stats being collected
db> by the USR (Austel) at the other end, the connection is at
db> 24.0Kbps (or 26.4Kbps as it used to be before he dropped an
db> EPROM revision) and stays that way. Connection is with LAP-M,
db> V.42bis and V.34 (ie., no MNP and no V.FC).

I've experenced the same thing when i changed back one code revision,
my connect speeds dropped a notch or two, FWIW i think Pauls borrowed
courier has something wrong with it as the dumps via ATI11 just don't
add up.

PC> i'd say it has the new datapump.

db> From Lewin's comments and the magical wonders of undocumented AT
db> commands (where would we be without 'em?), it looks like it
db> definitely has the new datapump. *sigh-of-relief!*

gives you a nice warm inner glow :-)
