The last I heard from Richard (off list) he was having a few serious
problems with offspring, this may have caused his focus to shift (no pun
intended) to more critical matters in the greater scheme of things. Richard
would avoid the Saint status as it would put him in the same league as
Texereau et al, something which he would detest. And remember Richard
always said that mirror clamps should be welded not bolted, he couldn't
"stress" that enough...   :^)
