Will check my feed then, but since it's net254s very own (and very
experienced) NEC, I'd find it difficult to accept that the fault
lies there...

Well, let's put it this way.  ZOOM is gated with Zoom_Modem twice a week
regularly.  But that does come via the ZoomGate...  See no problem with
Hayes, USR-Sportsters, or any of the other US echoes here either
