WV> |------------------|about QMPRO for DOS
WV>Correct...I just have a 386/20 and win doesn't work too well on it. I
WV>have almost 8M of RAM and don't really want to have windows tie up a
WV>bunch of disk space and hog my memory. If I had a 486 with 32 Megs of
WV>RAM and a 1 Gig HD, then it'd be a different story. Plus, I use OLX for
WV>all my messages, the win version(s) of QMP don't have it included, and
WV>use external protocols much more than the internal protocols.
WV>Each person has their own preferences and reasons for them.

Speaking of Opinions and preferences, I just recently (2 months
ago) switched to Windows 95 from DRDOS 5 and I LIKE some of the added
features of Win95. Mind you I'm running it on a Pentium 120 with 16 meg
of RAM, but I'm STILL using QMPro 1.53, (with NO PROBLEMS), under Win95.
I have found the 32 bit Software to be MUCH faster and more effective
however... I'm also running a lot of my DOS FoxBASE applications in
Windows under Win95 with NO problems. Don't be SO resistant to CHANGE!
You might like it if you give it a try... I'm also using Eudora Light
1.54 and Internet E-mail a lot more and I can see the day when I may
leave QM Pro in retirement... There are Newer and Better things being
developed.
