subject: UMS format

Hi,

Incase anyone here cares, I'm inventing a new way to store Echomail
messages for a future release of D'Bridge. Its called the Universal Message
Storage format, or UMS.

Basically all it is, is a script language. You write a script which tells
D'Bridge how to store the mail on the computer. The mailer then compiles
this script into assembly language code for use "on the fly". So
for example, you would have a script for *.MSG format, one for JAM, even
one for PHP/SQL. Instead of specifying the storage information for each
Echomail area in D'Bridge, you would just point this to the proper script -
and it takes care of the rest.

Its more or less my attempt at designing my mailer to be "forwards
compatible" with any new database format or structure that comes out.
