DC> Now he has to take her out fishing!

CS> Yuppers! The problem is the local base fishing trips require the kids
 CS> be 12YO and she's not quite yet 11.

DC> How about fishing from a dock?

Couldnt eat the fish (or wouldnt) this close to the naval base/shipping
docks. ¨besides, they have wild coi here and it's considered bad to catch
and possibly ¨kill them with a mis-set hook. Might be a luck thing, not
sure. There are ¨areas where you can fish off a dock or a bridge, but not
close to us as in ¨walking distance.

CS> 'chest'. I figured it was about that time.

DC> It used to be in the teens, but it starts earlier now.

Naw. same age as always. Some girls just start a little earlier. With
¨Charlotte being 11 come November, this is right on track as both his and
my ¨family are relatively 'large breasted' types. Not Dolly Parton sized,
but a ¨bigger than average. If Charlotte stays true to norm, by age 14 she
will pass ¨the jewish momma 'pencil test' (might be 13 when that happens).

CS> would prefer to not have to handle. I took Charlotte to the base
CS> today and got her new sneakers and her first training bra. She's too
CS> young to need a training bra yet, but she's the age where some of her

DC> So you got her a pre-traing bra? ;)

LOL! Naw, just a thing that looks like a sports-bra.

CS> There was another little girl near, trying to get her Dad to take a
CS> look and the poor fellow was turning beet red, fussing his feets back
CS> and forth and mumbling something about 'mom wil take care of that when
CS> she gets back'. Grin, I asked him if she would be gone long, and if
CS> so, if he wanted me to help out as i was getting Charlotte her first
CS> one. He grinned and said he'd be over looking at the sneakers then he
 CS> snuck away .

DC> Discretion is the better part of valor.

That too!

CS> I dont know if there are any Dads out there facing this alone, so the
CS> basics of sizes this time are to just measure their widest chest point
CS> (She's apt to breathe in to make it bigger at this age) and that plus
CS> 2 inches is the size measure. Do not buy a padded bra until 7th grade
CS> or so or the other girls will laugh at your little lady. Mild padding
CS> though at 7th grade is a good idea if she's a bit smaller than her
 CS> classmates still.

DC> My daughter buys her bras from Frederick's of Hollywood! No lie!

DC> Then again, she is 21.

Ah to be 21 again, NOT! I'm having more fun now than I did then .
