JM>> I am looking for CAPI drivers for the External I-Modem
BJ> I believe CAPI drivers are for internal ISDN devices only.
JM> Why would you think that?
Ignorance? :-) That's why I prefaced my remark with "I
believe". Truth is, I have no experience with CAPI drivers and am
probably wrong.
JM>> as well as any info you might have on bundling B channels under DOS.
BJ> The only channel aggregation possible with the I-Modem is Turbo PPP,
BJ> and it is handled by the I-Modem itself, irrespective of the
BJ> operating system.
JM> Why is this the only bundling possible? Because the drivers do not
JM> exist? USR tech support says they did exist but were removed from
JM> their BBS, possibly to be commercially marketed.
Whoever you spoke with was mistaken. "Channel Bundling" has
never been implemented in the I-Modem. If it were, it would be
incorporated in the flash ROM, not an external driver.
JM>> I am also looking for Init Strings that can be enbled in my mailer

JM>> V120H
BJ> AT&F1.
JM> Not good enough for use with outgoing calls.
Works here.
JM>> X.75
BJ> Not supported.
JM> So...currently we are stuck not being able to communicate with most

At the present time, yes.
