good idea! I liked what you said further down in your message about
having a clear distinction between home and office and ensuring there is
a clear border and nothing crosses over from one realm into the next.
It is important psychologically for that distinction. Thanks.
LC> JY> Query - what are people using for planners? It's already February! I
LC> JY> still haven't picked up one from a stationery store

LC> JY> Any recommendations? running os/2, describe word processor (Not

I liked the hot tip idea. Will it work into the year 2000? i heard some
programs have glitches relating to that area.
LC>- what they wanted, what they said, I have a thick school
LC>note book on which I jot the information in shorthand while
LC>the conversation is going on. Afterwards I put a summary
LC>in the client's file in maximizer. That way I have a record of every
contac
LC>however brief with every client, which is invaluable a few
LC>months later when the clients claim they're due something
LC>and you have no clear recollection of what the conversation
LC>covered.
I imagine it takes discipline to get that info from the book to the
PC. I would prefer to key right into the computer or laptop, but the
keystrokes can be annoying to a client over the phone.
