I agree with you. The attraction should have been closed when the first loss
of life occured... but too many customers complained when the "rumors" of
closure occured. It finally became a "monitary" decision, the insurance
company was going to cancel the coverage for "America Sings"... and the
amputation occured shortly after the notice from the insurance company. Now
Disney has a total "safety first" program. If even a "lightbulb" is burned
out, the attraction could be closed until repaired.
