subject: FDD Problems

Recently, I was asked to work on a new system for a relative. I loaded
up dos 6.22 and win 3.1 with a full standard configuration. Immediately
fter
that, the 1.44 FDD stopped reading 1.44 and only acted as a 720. Around the
same time, I was trying to transfer files onto floppy from my system and it
started to chew up my disks. I was just wondering if there was anything that
may be related to a virus. I have run a full system scan using Scan 3.0,
fprot 2.26 and tbav 7.07. Any help would be appreciated.
Contact would be appreciated at mgaulton@interlog.com or
mark.gaulton@sheridanc.on.ca if at all possible.
