What are you using to take care of the dual-core (not quite the same as
dual-CPU) configuration? Some "experts" say that the standard IBM SMP
feature does not work with dual-core systems and that you should try the
ACPI stuff available in the BetaZone to who purchased the Software
Subscription Services.
I can report that my AMD dual-core machine is working with eCS 1.2R and
ver. 2.13 of the ACPI package.
Do you have the /SMP parameter on the PSD=OS2APIC.PSD line in
CONFIG.SYS? What happens if you replace "SMP by "UNI"?
