HM->Supras are all made in the US, for example; NetComms are made in
HM->Australia. Perhaps that last one indicates to you that crap quality can
HM->come from Australia too, but many of the cheap crap Rockwell modems
HM->with standard Rockwell ROMs come straight from Taiwan and the like.

Some very good modems come from Taiwan. Some very good computer parts come
from Taiwan. If he had stated 'bad australian compat.' or 'lousy cps' then
his argument would have been decent.
