S95=127 gives CARRIER/PROTOCOL/COMPRESSION/CONNECT messages (tells ya the
works). ... Fall forward / fallback is probably good... But oops... VFC?
Try both and make some linenoise to see what happens.

... If speed scares you, try Windows...
