It is an interesting report, I suspect in part because it's a sir humphrey
report. It has a very sharp blade under the covers which is humorous. In
essence there is evidence in there which can hang Bush & Blair (OK not
Bush as noone in the US cares about international law or even decepetion of
the people) but it is then nicely disguised beneath platitudinous value
judgements from the panel.

Butler can walk away while others can pick over the real evidence shorn of
any CYA value judgements.

E.g. small but nasty point...wrt Hutton....it turns out from this report
that it is likely that there was someone deciding what Hutton could &
couldn't see. Gosh...really.... Most suspected this but then along comes
the cold hard light of the Butler report (which obviously does not lower
itself to making this point directly).....
