On: How to slowdown mouse cursor
[echoed below, in part<=1]

I am using ThinkPad T43 with eCS 2.0 RC2 installed. Because of being
nagged, I am trying to replace a perfectly good corded mouse with a
cordless one. (It uses a USB port.) The problem with this Logitech
Mouse is the cursor travels at warp speed in the vertical direction and
snail speed horizontally. Setting scroll speed to slow in mouse setup
has minimal effect.
A cursor control with independent horizontal and vertical adjustments is
one of the tools in the FM/2 utilities kit. It may be at hobbes, or
distributed by the group working on FM/2 (FM/3). Again, it is one of the
UTILITIES kit, obviously named, and part of the package of applets.
