Yup, they made CGA video cards w/ a printer port.  I had one. Think I've seen 
some EGA/printer port cards too.
BTW, just discovered this conference -- glad to see there are some other 
old-timers out there who remember Z-80s, CP/M etc.  I'm tired of these 
Johnnie-come-latelys who have never seen a terminating resistor on a floppy
