Yeah, I'm trying that. Whew, it takes some getting used to. I've
been using "right and left" for most of my life, save some early
directional training in elementary school. Hope it gets easier. Wonder
where I can get a Braille compass...

The frustrating pat is it's not as if I have been a lazy lump for
the past two years. I know how to get places with rote training, and
have been pretty successful with that. But I feel I'd be *more*
successful if I knew why things were the way they were, using
orientation skills. People say "make a map in your head as you're going
somewhere," but nobody tells you how. I realize it gets better with
practice, but I wish there were some techniques or something to make it
a little less daunting of a task.
