DM>That's a pretty impressive profit. Boba Fett's always popular. Even if
heaps
DM>of his figures were around, the demand for them would make
DM>them valuable. There aren't many of him around here. A
DM>friend of mine collects as well and we were lucky enough to
DM>find one each. The really tough one to get has been Leia. I
DM>finally found one in a supermarket, but it's the only one
DM>we've seen. But apart from being popular, Boba Fett's also
DM>an excellent figure. The blaster marks on his armour look
DM>incredible, and the fact that he wears a helmet means that
DM>the thing that often lets a figure down, facial detail,
DM>doesn't exist. It'll be interesting to see if the Shadows
DM>of the Empire figure of him (and the others) is any
DM>different apart from the packaging.
Yeah, Boba Fett was one of those characters that I was really surprised
they underprinted. EVERYONE loves Boba Fett, they should have expected
it to be one of the hotter figures in the set. As for Princess Leia,
i've seen two so far and I haven't had the cash at the time. (ouch!)
That and i've seen 3 C3PO's, there seems to be a bunch more around here
too... Ah well, with the way that Boba Fett figures have been selling in
the first series tho you KNOW they'll do a Shadows of the Empire figure,
I seem to vaguely recall reading an article about the Shadows of the
Empire figures and I believe there was Boba Fett, another bounty hunter
and Boba Fett's Ship in that set...
