okay here is the problem.
i just got a usr sportster 28.8
i have had problems connecting to my isp.
sometimes i am completely unable to connect but when i do i only get a 24000 
connection. then after i get connected i only have about 4 minutes of good 
connect time. what i mean by this is, i am still connected to my isp but am 
unable to get anywhere on the web or irc or anything of the like.
also when i call some boards and write mail or messages i will be in the 
middle of writing and then all of the sudden i will get dropped.
also, when either of these things happens i have to reboot my machine in 
rder
to be able to connect anywhere else.
i use win95 dial-up networking to dial to my isp, and when i try to reconnect 
it gives me a message that says there is no response from the modem make sure 
that the modem is connected if so try switching the power off and then on, 
or something of the sort.
so if you have any ideas i would be most appreciative of any assisstance 
anyone would be willing to provide.
