Sounds like you're already at 120 DPI.

With the SDD or Snap drivers it can be forced with SET SDDFONTDPI= in
CONFIG.SYS. Only choices are 120 & 96.

The ones that start with high DPI work better for lower resolutions, so you
might consider trying a native 1600x1200 20" or 22" LCD set lower
if you can
find an opportunity to test one that way. Or, try a 26" or larger LCD TV. Or
buy another CRT. Local government auctions have been turning up a lot of good
used large Trinitron CRTs around here.
