Apples.
Seriously, you have to define what you mean by first "humans".
When we split
from the chimpanzees we probably had a chimp-like diet - mainly fruit with a
small amount of meat and insects.
Subsequently fruit became less important in the human diet whilst meat,
either hunted or scavenged, became more important, and also there was more
exploitation of roots and food like grubs as intelligence developed.
Dairy products and grains were only added after the invention of agriculture
about 12,000 years ago. In terms of human welfare, the shift to agriculure
was a disaster, with healthy hunter-gatherer diets being replaced by
unhealthy carbohydrate rich diets, and frequent famines when the staple crop
failed.
