Hi, Mike!

I haven't... completely.

I hadn't installed to a fresh directory.
I haven't done that in years! I did some time ago, using those "Mozilla
Home", etc things, and wound up with dung all over the place. I spent
about three weeks cleaning up after that! Since, I have just unzipped
over the old version. The whole concept of creating a new version when
you have dozens of data files (emails, for example) seems a bit odd.
OTOH, Tom Brown (my apology, Tom... just found your note this
morning!) suggested essentially the same thing, so perhaps it's time to
try it again. If not, there is always Linux, which just works without
all the screwing around.
Thanks, Mike!

verifying that all was operating correctly, I then deleted the previous
version's directory tree containing the executables.
