Cannot find, unable to operate, I got sloppy with my terminology. But I
stand by my drive letter confusion contention.

You always want to be careful telling someone what they cannot do. W4
is my primary OS/2. As drive sizes increased I have had no trouble
using the larger sizes. I have had OS/2 use drives that the BIOS could
not see as the real size; such as 200G in a socket seven MB.

Your primary mistake seems to be in assuming W4 died with FP15; and by
the way, the latest is 17. It is actually very much alive and well; and
probably one of the reasons this list exists. My storage box runs W4
with one 200G and two 500K JFS drives. No, W4 is not on JFS. Storage is.
I have had eCS since the first handout. I am not currently aware of any
function that it will perform that I cannot do with W4.

Actually I have revealed it at least a couple times. I don't talk much
about it because I am not pushing the idea. It is part of a compromise
I made in an attempt to get several OSs to share app and data space, and
in some cases the actual apps and data. If LVM does something useful
for you, use it. For me, it gets in the way.
